Oliver Stone got thrown out of Uni, Robert Rodrigues left after a few months- film school is good but it aint the be all and end all. If you want it enough, and your talented enough, and work hard enough, things happen for you (or so i've read). Loads of us on here have been to film school- and from my p.o.v at least it, hasnt made THAT much of a difference to my vision, only party to the execution of it.
IMPORTANT: Dont let some schmuck of a lecturer from film school kill your desire- at the end of the day, if he/she were any good they would be making films not giving people young film-makers sh1t.
As for the white chocolate- are you sure you aing a bird?

Ahh film school, got rejected eh?, CONGRATULATIONS
a directors job is to find new ways to film old thoughts, a film schools job is to hit you with a stick until you film old thoughts exactly as you are TOLD MISTER!. That and take a RIDICULOUS amount of money off you, at least the budget of two reasonable movies you could have made.
(insert word that would get censored here) them.
